Public Meetings & Hearings
The public will have several opportunities to participate throughout the study process, including in-person and virtual meetings to learn more about and comment on potential roadway alignment alternatives, ask questions, and provide input on the EA. The study team will also respond to questions submitted by email or mail while this study is underway. All public input is considered equally, regardless of the method in which it is provided.
Pursuant to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other nondiscrimination laws and authorities, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. Persons who require a reasonable accommodation based on language or disability should contact the city of Peoria at 623-670-5800. Requests should be made as early as possible to ensure the State has an opportunity to address the accommodation.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being or have been carried out by ADOT pursuant to 23 USC 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated 06/25/2024 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and ADOT.
