Project Area

The 2.2-mile project is located in unincorporated Maricopa County and the City of Peoria. The project area extends from Corte Bella Drive at the south end to Jomax Road at the north end. About 2,000 feet of El Mirage Road south of Loop 303 will be restriped to accommodate traffic using the interchange; however, no roadway reconstruction will occur south of Loop 303.

Between Mariposa Grande Lane and Happy Valley Road, a new roadway corridor will be constructed. From Happy Valley Road to Jomax Road, the existing roadway will be reconstructed. The map also provides the locations of the McMicken Dam Outlet Channel, Loop 303, the Coldwater Ranch and Vistancia neighborhoods, the Beardsley Canal and local streets and residential areas near the project area.
