Study Area & Conceptual Roadway Corridor Alignment

The study area is a half-mile wide, beginning at Loop 303 and extending north of Jomax Road, approximately one-third of a mile. Most of the land in the study area is located in unincorporated Maricopa County except for the northernmost section, which is in the city of Peoria. The proposed improvements to El Mirage Road would be made within this study area. Note: Although the Study Area extends about one-third of a mile north of Jomax Road, the proposed improvements would end at Jomax Road. The map at right illustrates, in yellow, the location of the conceptual Roadway Corridor Alignment. This is where El Mirage Road would be extended and improved if the project is constructed.
