Your Input Matters!
Scoping is the first phase of the EA process. As the name suggests, scoping is an early and open process when the study team gathers information from people who live, work, travel in, or are otherwise interested in the study area to help determine the scope of issues to analyze in the EA.
How to provide Input
Your input is important! It will help the study team fully understand the type and breadth of issues in the study area that need to be evaluated. During this online scoping process you can visit the project website at ElMirageRoadExtension.com to learn more, provide comments, and ask questions. The scoping phase ends on XXX, 2024.
It is important to note that scoping is the first phase of this environmental study process, which is anticipated to continue through summer 2025. The study team will respond to questions and comments throughout development of the EA and DCR. Additional opportunities for comment will be scheduled in the coming months, including meetings to review roadway design options and a virtual public hearing. Information about the dates, times, and locations of meetings will be provided at on this page as it is confirmed, so please check back! To receive information by email, please send your email to us at info@elmirageroadextension.com.
